Commonly Asked Questions: Digital Marketing Consultant

What is a Digital Marketing Consultant?

A Digital Marketing Consultant is one person who is skilled and qualified to help your business advance forward with your digital marketing strategy and channels.

I can work with you on my own, or if the occasion requires I have a trusted team of local freelancers who I can bring in, and manage on your behalf, to assist with specific projects.

What do Digital Marketing Consultants do?

At the core of it, we’re here to help you move forward with your digital marketing objectives.

Whether that’s building your organic search presence through SEO, target a specific audience via paid advertising, or nudge the dial on conversions across your website and advertising channels, your chosen Digital Marketing Consultant will typically have skills in one or more of these areas; or in my instance skills in many areas, developed over 25 years of working hands on in digital marketing.

Is Digital Marketing worth it?

Let me turn this around to you for a moment – if you’re looking to grow your business pipeline by targeting specific audiences with fresh creatives, copy and user journeys, then….yes digital marketing is worth it.

Plus it’s scalable, you don’t have to spend big bucks to make it work, but you will need to have a minimum budget for advertising or resources, as contrary to popular belief digital marketing isn’t free or dirt cheap.

Do you have a minimum contract or term?

Depending on what service I can assist you with, my maximum term is 3 months for management services, where a lot of work is front-loaded into month 1.

After this I work on a rolling 30-day notice, as there is nothing I detest more than being locked into, or locking people into long-term contracts. I have faith in the quality of the services I provide, and as such I believe that you, like many of my existing clients, will stay with me for the long term, or come back for other services.

How much does a digital marketing consultant cost?

As a small business myself I’m not free, and as an expert with 25 years experience in Digital Marketing I’m not the cheapest you’ll find. But you know the old saying about paying peanuts…….

That said, I only work on the things you really need, and as owner of Kachi Marketing I can, and will, tailor my services to adapt them to what you really need where possible.

Where do you work from, and how do you work with your clients?

Based in Leamington Spa, I have clients who are local as well as international clients. As such I’m very flexible in how I work. I’ve worked remotely via Zoom/Teams/Google Meet for over 6 years now, and use systems like Slack, Airtable, Asana to help stay in touch with you and provide regular updates on project progress.

If you happen to be based near Leamington Spa, or in/around the Warwickshire area then I’m very happy to have face-to-face meetings on a regular basis.

I’m a great believer in working in a way that is comfortable and productive for us both. So if that is cameras on/off when we have video calls – that’s okay.

If it means you’d rather a weekly 15 minute meeting over a fortnightly 30 minute meeting or monthly 1 hour meeting, then that’s okay too. I’m also happy to just get on with it and sort it out, if you’d rather crack on with your more important tasks (I’ll provide short and succinct updates, so you never feel lost or out of control!)

I am looking for a digital marketing consultant near me?

If you’re based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, then I’m happy to work with you on a face-to-face basis.

Do you work with international clients?

Absolutely, whilst a lot of my clients are UK based, I do have clients from Sweden and the United States.

My typical working hours are 9:30am-2:30pm GMT and 8:30pm-11:30pm GMT, which means that I’m usually available for live meetings with your teams during core working hours in international timezones, and of course project work is often finished overnight, ready for your team to move forward with the very next morning.
